Railroad flatcar tie-downs

I am working on a job tying army tanks down to railroad flatcars. The

turnbuckle has a gear on it like there is supposed to be a tool to tighten

train cars & HET is it all depends on the type of turnbuckles you are

using. I don't think there is any 1 type in use.

Talk to ur S-4 & find out where the equipment was procurred from, or

better yet get with installation safety. They should be able to get you

the proper equipment.  
 
I know the deal, they normally make you work with what you have. But  
there are specific safety laws & organizations like OSHA that the military  
must also abide by except in combat.
